Salt plays several important roles inside our bodies. The first place that it is found is in your body fluids. There is less then one percent of salt in our body fluid, which includes blood, sweat, and tears. It is also found in our nerves, which need salt in order to transmit messages properly. Another place that salt is found is in your blood stream. Although, there shouldn't be too much salt ther because if there is, you could end up with high blood pressure. It can be so dangerous that the American Medical Association asked the FDA to take salt off the list of safe foods. Salt can cause many dangerous things in our body, and it is always best to eat a low-salt diet. A way to stick to that low sodium diet is to eat more home made food and less pre-packaged, or processed food.
