One of the best movies to watch to learn more about global warming is the movie called "An Inconvenient Truth," by Al Gore. There is plenty of information like as carbon dioxide increases the water temperature, wind velocity and moisture increases, and in less than fifty years the concentration of carbon dioxide will go off the charts. They have many pieces of evidence of around the world changes like the raining in Mumbai, India that had 37 inches of rain in twenty-four hours with around one thousand deaths. Also there is the evidence of coral reefs getting bleached causing them to die, the hurricane in 2004 and 2005, even the estimated deaths in Europe after the 2003 heat wave.Not only this, but in the movie there were before and after pictures of some specific areas that had been affected by global warming like Antarctica. There were also predictions of what would be flooded if Greenland or part of Antarctica was melted like part of Florida, India like Calcutta, China like Shanghai or Beijing, Netherlands mostly flooded, San Francisco Bay, and even New York including the world trade center memorial.Polar ice melting, natural disasters like hurricanes and tornadoes, polluting the air with fossil fuels for cars factories,and deforestation,and more. Even killing people and animals by disease or even dystroying their enviroment is because of global warming, and greedy consumption for energy. The main message in this movie is that we are the ones doing it and we are able to stop it, with cleaner ways like more efficient cars renewable source, and more.
