Human Activity

Besides the greenhouse effect another big problem that would create global warming is human activities. The two main things that humans do to make global warming are deforestation and the burning of fossil fuels.

the dynamics of warming.

Deforestation

In today’s way of life the trees for deforestation are mostly found in the rainforest, for many things. For example we would cut down trees in the rainforest for pulpwood for paper or clothing, veneer log and saw log for furniture. For heating and household purposes today’s world would use charcoal and firewood. Lastly deforestation would occur when this is no more room for agriculture. In the years around 2008 to 2012, reforestation is possible to grow up to 20%, and deforestation would probably go down 20%. Many places are starting to grow trees like Europe, United States, and some places are just starting like Asia and India. The bad news to this is though some places are still being cut down, also some places have a chance that no more trees can be grown in that type of non replaceable environment. In the forest there are many trees that have their own maturity level. Ranging from 60-200 years and the average of the years a tree will grow around 122 years.

wow! Global warming can cause serious damage

Information

If this process continues it would make climate changes basically by carbon dioxide building up in the atmosphere. This carbon build up in the atmosphere happens because, trees are made up of 50% carbon, so when the tree is cut, the carbon escapes. One of the amazing things the rainforest does is recycle half the rainfall, and absorb most of the sun, but if this were gone, none of this would happen. Another job the rainforest does is to transpirate, and evaporate rain, which makes precipitation, and with out this, the place surrounding the forest wouldn’t get rainfall, and some of it is interactive activity.

Fossil Fuels:The Burning

Besides deforestation, the burning of fossil fuels would be another big topic of human activities, leading to global warming. Like deforestation, the burning of fossil fuels would release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. This would happen because if you mix fossil fuels with oxygen it makes carbon dioxide, which harms the atmosphere. In today’s way of life there are many uses for the burning of fossil fuels. It is the power source for many things, such as powering cars, factories and heating homes. One of the most important things fossil fuels could be used for is electricity. This is very important because in today’s economy, electricity has big impacts, so imagine how much fossil fuels are used for this energy.

There is a 40% of carbon emissions for power plants in the U.S., 20% for cars in the U.S., and 12%for buildings. The cars with the worst gas mileage produce more carbon dioxide, like minivans, pick-up trucks and jeeps. Also trucks make 13% US emissions, while up in the planes make 3.5%, but will rise over the years. If you thought this was bad enough 25% emission are from deforestation.
