[Great Wall of China][Slave Trade][Working conditions][Geography][Audience]

This website was built for people who are interested and concerned about slavery in more than just the United States. We also included the United States, however, because it’s important to know the depths of slavery including your own country. However, we chose the top four places around the world who had the greatest slavery, and who still might have slavery. Those four places were the United States, China, England, and Africa. We wanted people who were alarmed at slavery and were drawn to our website. Slavery is something that the world can stop, as it partially already has. However, if the whole world gets sucked into it, it’s everyone’s effort that makes slavery’s power unstoppable. Therefore, we wanted to educate people our age of how horrid slavery is before their hearts turn lenient toward slavery. We wanted people to be concerned about other’s pasts, not only theirs in the United States. By pushing other’s pasts away, the people are basically saying that other countries that had slavery doesn’t matter. To make a good community, we need to focus on others, and stop being selfish by learning only our pasts. We need to take control, and learn what’s right, and if people think about it hard enough, people will settle on the fact that it’s others that leads to the right thing. Overall, we wanted people who were open to more than just slavery in the United States.
