Children
Buddhism involves children in the religion as well. Today most parents just let their children follow what they are doing when it comes to spirituality and being religious. But this is not enough. They should encourage their children to practice Buddhism so they can understand it better. Buddhist teaching is easier for those who have practical experience with the religion. It is hard to understand the religion for non-Buddhists and for children. Some people have blind faith and practice Buddhism without understanding, which is why the faith is so complex.
Other views on Buddhism
I interviewed my grandfather, on his perspective on Buddhism. He is a practicing Sikh, which is a relatively young religion from India. “Buddhism has some principles in common with Sikhism, like meditation, but I found it strange to learn that Buddhism does not believe in the existence of god.” His whole idea of a religion is that the root “re” in religion means again and “ligion” is union meaning religion is a path to reuniting with the lord. The area of overlap is in the moral principles for living, and the belief in Karma.
