The Fourth Crusade ws from 1201-1204. They were going to attack Jerusalem from the south, after invading Egypt. Then they changed their plans and attacked Constantinople because it was easier to take over and a much better prize. The Fifth Crusade was in 1217-1221. The crusaders decided they were going to attack Damietta, then move to Egypt, Palestine, and Jerusalem. Their plan was averted when they were defeated in Egypt.They did manage to take Damietta, but released it after a truce with the Muslims. The Sixth Crusade was in 1228 and lasted for a year. This was when Frederick 2 tried sending troops to Germany but failed to accomplish anything. The point of the Sixth Crusade was to make up for the Fifith Crusade's failure and recapture Jerusalem(again). The Seventh Crusade went from 1248 to 1250. It was led by Louis 9 of France.
