TV’s (television)

The way we watch TV may be WAY different in 5 years. Some screens may be so small they will be able to fit inside coffee cups. Marriages may be able to be arranged by TiVo. This could all be happening by the end of the 21st or 22nd century! But, televisions generally double in size every 18 months. If this keeps up, people will have to sit outside to watch TV in the next few years. We should be aiming for making them smaller. That way we could carry them around wherever we went like in our pockets. Even though you can already watch TV on your cell phone or on a laptop, we may be able to watch it on our watches, on our cars dashboards, on our Ipod’s or MP3 players,  or on Game Boy’s©. Pretty much on any electronic device you can think of!

Also, researchers and scientists are working on making a flat panel television screen that you will be able to roll up and carry around with you! It will be called the Flex-Ability TV.

Ever wanted to be a movie director? Well, you’re in luck! The future of TV could make us all movie directors. We might be able to cut out the boring parts of our favorite movies and add some more exiting parts to it. Even from different movies or made by you! We will be able to make our own movies and then sell them on PPV (Pay-Per View) or HBO and if they’re good enough they will post them on TV. That way every one could see what you have made!

MOVIES

DVD’s will be about one-three inches in diameter and will be able to hold about twelve hours of media. People might be able to put them into their Play Stations© or into  other gaming consoles like XBOX 360® and actually play through the entire movie!

There is also a slight possibility that we won’t even need televisions! We might have these helmet things like you use for virtual reality games. If we do get those then we wouldn’t have to worry about the televisions getting bigger and bigger over the years.

But, this may take many years to develop. So in the meantime,

WATCH OUT FOR HUGE TELEVISION SETS!!
