Cliques have a different effect on each individual. Some cliques can have a very positive influence on the people within the group. However, others could have negative impact of the people of that particular group. The effects on people range from very optimistic outlook on life, while some of the groups like most Goths; they are very pessimistic outlook on life. However, some statements are very false. Like saying “Blondes are dumb” but, some of these false expressions like “I just had a blonde moment”; are used, surprisingly, by the very same students that they are pointed towards.
There are many academic effects in cliques, some good and some not to good. When you are in a clique, the effects can vary from person to person; it all depends on the way the clique is. In cliques, the right type of cliques can help a person get motivated for things. Due to the effects of cliques, those students who choose not to attend college have decreased by a lot from way back in the day. However, the downside to this is that the friends in a clique sometimes overshadow the importance of going to school for a very good education. In high school, when you are accepted into a clique, it isn’t just good for your public status; it is also good for your educational position.
