As you all know there are many kinds of cliques out there, but unless you are in it, you might not fully understand it.  Don't worry!  We will try to clear things up for you as best as we can. 

Jocks

   The Jocks are the ones that you see in football jackets or lifting weights.  They're almost all in sports.  Most people think that jocks get all the girls and aren't very smart.  Not all are top notch and get all the pretty girls and some are actually smart.  You might think that the jocks are the happiest guys in school...but we think not.  Studies show that people that you think might live the dream are actually more unhappy with themselves and can't take humiliation, so they have to humiliate someone else.   If you think that jocks have it all that might be true now but just wait till they're 40 and can't play sports any longer!

Preps

    The preps are the ones that always look perfect and neat as a pin.  Some are classified by the clothes they wear, like Hollister or American Eagle.  But that is just the way they look; most are not all that perfect at all on the inside...most are very mean.  When people think of preps, the first thing that they think is girls in plaid skirts and sweater sets.  Most do not consider boys to be preps, but some really are. 

Populars

    The populars are probably  the most exclusive clique of the four we talk about.  It seems like everyone wants to be one of the popular people in school but the truth is that just because every one knows them does not mean that they like them.  Popular people are bullies do practically every one yet somehow they get away with it.  Studies show that people who are striving to be on top might seem successful and happy but outside of work or school they have no real life.

Nerds

    The nerds are the most accepting clique of all.  Whether people admit it or not, there is a little bit of a nerd in all of us.  They are the ones that most people think wear tape on their glasses, but some don't even have glasses at all!   Most nerds are video game addicts and spend countless hours on the computer.  Just remember they might not be "cool" but one day you will more then likely be working for one.
