What is Cardiovascular Disease?
Cardiovascular Disease is a dangerous threat to the human body. This disease involves the heart when no nutritional energy is in the body. It refers to the circulatory system which includes the lungs, heart, arteries, and veins. When no vitamins and nutrition is in the body it is difficult to keep the heart pumping and the body moving.
How does this disease happen?

One of the biggest causes of this disease is obesity.
Being overweight, not eating a healthy diet, and not exercising are high causes for this disease. Others are age, having high blood pressure, eating too much sugar and starch, smoking tobacco, stress, and depression. Exercise plays an important role in keeping the body healthy.  When  the body rides a bike, swims, or runs the heart is pumping producing blood and energy and sending it throughout the body. The more the heart pumps the less chance the body has of getting cardiovascular.

How can you prevent this from hapening?

It is very important to get at least thirty to sixty minutes of exercise each day  in order to prevent cardiovascular disease. Cholesterol level is also very important in preventing this disease. Cholesterol is greasy substance produced by the liver and found on lots of foods. If to much cholesterol is in the body the heart slows down and the muscles tighten. Eating to much cholesterol can cause obesity and high blood pressure so it is essential to keep ones cholesterol level below one hundred - fifty. Other ways to prevent this disease is to eat oily fish twice a week, and eat low sodium and oils. Over 17.3 million Americans have cardiovascular disease and it is the number one cause of death in the United States.

Cardiovascular Disease can happen to anyone who does not exercise, eat a healthy diet, and get enough sleep. Some kids may think that it cant happen to them but this disease has a big factor in it that alot of kids suffer from. Obesity happens all over the United States so no wonder so many people suffer from this disease. Millions of people across the globe make an unhelathy choice and end up with this disease
