Obesity is a worldwide issue, especially for children. Children who have gained extra body weight  are at risk of deeloping variiety of diseases such as risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, arthritis, sleep apnea, and stroke when they grow older.

The goal of our site is to provide information that can help children understand and lower the risk of  “obesity” :

2. To explain causes, effects, and ways to prevent  obesity.

   3.To Explain how  to  live a healthy life and different ways to exercise.

   4.To explore cultural influences on lifestyle and obesity rates

5. To help learn about healthy nutrition and choices

AUDIENCE

Kids our age should know about obesity because at a young age you can easily be distracted from living a healthy lifestyle. Many kids in America play video games all day and eat junk food. Obesity is becoming epidemic. It is important to prevent kids our age from becoming obese. Therefore, we created the site for children and students of all ages and their parents and teachers.We hope that our site will help them find information and resources about nutrition, excercise and develping a healthy lifesyle.
