The Texas Citrus Festival In Texas on January 21-23 is the annual Texas Citrus Festival. Texas can produce 10 million pounds or citrus per year and they celebrate that by this festival. They have a big parade caled the parade of oranges, that includes floats. The float needs to have at least 90% of Texas fruits such as oranges and tasty veggies.The people on the floats have dresses made up of oranges from top to bottom! This festival has live entertainment and many good foods. The Florida Citrus Festival The florida citrus festival started in 1924 and was supposed to help educate public schools in the area. At the festival there are some fun rides and a museum to help ferther educate your knowledge in oranges.
