THE 70’S FASHION’S ARE REALLY GROOVEY. YOU COULD BOOGIE ALL NIGHT UNTILL YOU CAN’T BOOGIE ANY MORE. The 1970s people would dress how ever they would like. For some, people wore a wide range of styles. For others, people liked to make fashion statements in the 1970s. The 1970s were filled with many events that impacted fashion. Feminism, Civil Rights, the Watergate scandal, and the Vietnam War brought gritty reality to the forefront. These influences gave designers new ammunition, and the public was eager for the latest fashion wave. Interesting boots-often teamed with hot pants or short skirts. Boots might be shiny, textured, bejeweled, or covered with psychedelic or floral designs, but they were not boring. Skirts came in three lengths in the 1970s, mini, midi, and maxi. The latter half of the decade’s fashions was impacted by Rock Roll and Disco. Males made their hair grow long until it reached there shoulder.
