Hi! My name is Stacey I am a thirteen-year-old girl. I attend Oak-Land Jr. High in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. I have lived in Minnesota all my life so far but my Fathers side of the family is Kenyan. I hope to visit Kenya to see all of my realatives really soon. I really enjoy listening to music, traveling, shopping, and talking to fmy friends on the phone and hanging out with them. I choose to do this project because I didn’t know allot about India and I think that it is a really interesting place. My Character is Neela.

Hi, my name is Kate. I am a 14 year old 8th grader at Oakland Jr High School. I joined Think Quest because I wanted to get more involved with the whole technology side of Oakland. Our school is one of only a few in Minnesota using a one to one laptop program where I recieve a laptop in the beginning of the year and it is with me for the rest of that school year wherever I go. I felt that Think Quest would give me more of an opportunity to use this technology. Besides computers some of my hobbies are soccer, guitar, and acting. I am also a big writer and absolutely love to create fiction stories. Our project was a lot of fun for me because I got to create a fictional story and learned a lot while writing it!

Hey. My name is Alice. I am 14 years and I go to Oakland Jr. High School. I live in Lake Elmo, Minnesota, which is also where my school is located. I have lived in Minnesota most of my life. I thought it would cool to join Thinkquest because I knew I could learn something new from this program. It may have been a lot of work, but I was willing to work for this. My hobbies are Hanging out with friends, Snowboard, and I love the summer. I loved doing this project because it gave me a chance to explore the life of an Indian girl, it was like a Soap Opera from India!
