We formulated our strategies.

Strategy 1: Prepare and unite

We cannot prevent disasters from occurring but can surely save lives by handling them effectively. We prepared exit plans for our school with three different routes-red route, yellow route and green route. We attended workshops on rope climbing and also learnt to tie strong routes. Drills were conducted in the school and the senior students helped the younger students to exit safely.

Strategy 2: Never say no to Know

Awareness of disasters, their causes and disaster management principles is a must. So we decorated the school bulletin boards with themes such as fire, accidents, earthquakes and tsunami. We organized skits and plays in our assembly to spread awareness.

Strategy 3 :Sahayta (help)

We attended workshops on first aid to be able to help and offer sahayta ( help ) in times of need. The golden rule is LLF-Look, Listen and Feel  was taught & practiced. We conducted workshops on first aid for classes III-XII. We also prepared our own First aid kit.

Strategy 4: Learn to live

We commanded the three P principles – Presence, Patience, Persistence. When confronted with an emergency the best we could do is face it- calmly, patiently and bravely.

When God puts work into your life, he expects you to put life into your work. So we decided to get into action. Here's our action plan.

We realised our lives no longer belong to us alone; they belong to all who need us desperately. And also we can't lead anyone further than you have gone ourselves . We now seemed prepared and ready to take life as it comes.

So lets Save life, for Life is precious...
