The Prize Winning QC - Crucial Moments Have a look at the Presentation

We decided to spread awareness about our findings in Disaster Management. We  took it to a larger audience to address our research across the nation and overseas. What better platform could we get than presenting our case study in ICSQCC, Lucknow where our research could be analyzed & brainstormed   further by eminent scholars around the globe.

The International Convention on Students’ Quality Control Circles (ICSQCC’ )  proved to be a landmark in the History of QCC Movement. The convention aimed at focussing the spotlight on the need for adopting QCCs as an integral part of academics. It strongly underlined the need to empower the students so that they can find solutions to their problems, develop analytical skills, team work, channelise their creative potentials, and develop a win-win attitude in order to meet the demands of the next millennium.

The convention generated tremendous response with as many as 2500 delegates from 14 nations participating in informative presentations, thought provoking deliberations and interesting competitions in various streams. The participants belonged to all walks of life i.e. industries, business houses, organisations and student delegates from 193 educational institutions from India and abroad. The event provided an excellent opportunity to meet each other for exchanging experiences and ideas and establishing communication links for mutual benefit in bringing about a quality improvement.

A first hand Experience

Our school went for the 8th ICSQCC, Lucknow. It was a great learning experience. Our team presented the case study disaster management. It dealt with the safety measures taken during natural and man-made disasters. We also presented as to what our school has done to educate people about disaster mitigation. Through this we created awareness about disaster management. After our Q.C there was a question answers round in which we shared thoughts with each other. As we interacted with people we learnt many other things. We also won the Deming award for our presentation.
