What You Can Do

Learn

Knowing what is going around the world is important. You can read newspapers, books, watch documentaries, or just the television. You don't even have to be an expert on the subject but knowing what it is about is enough.

Share

Pass on the knowledge you have gained to your family, friends and teachers. Encourage them to find out more about the issues and then discuss them with you. If they don't care, make them care!

Use Public Transport

Catch the train, the bus or maybe bike or walk to school or work. Did you know that by not using your car and instead public transport you will reduce nearly a tonne of pollutants being released into the air!

Change Light bulbs

How about switching to compact fluorescent light bulbs? It will last 10 times longer, use 75 percent less energy but still provide you with the same amount of light.

Recycle

You can recycle everything. If you spare just 10 minutes of your time to recycle, it can save heaps of energy. Less rubbish would end up in the landfill and having recycled will save energy as new materials don't have to be made again.
