It is only recently since scientists have announced their finding of the rapidly rising temperatures. In studies done by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), they found that the climate has changed over the past century. The trend is expected to greatly rise over the coming years, as greenhouse gases accumulate. Scientists have suggested that it was during the industrialisation era of the late 1980s and the early 1990s when the major pollution started.
