ANIMAL EXHIBITS

When you go to the rodeo make sure you don't miss the animal exhibits. At the HL&R the area is called AGVENTURE. It's especially fun for kids. All kinds of livestock, including cattle, goats, poultry, swine and rabbits, can be found here. There are also pony rides and a petting zoo.

On our field trip to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, we saw many different animals. Our favorite place was the AgAdventure. They had pigs, cows, chicken eggs hatching (which was really cool), kangaroos (yeah kangaroos!), bees, chickens, goats, and much more!
