It's on the western part of the Scandinavian-peninsula. Norway is bordered with Sweden on the east and with seas on the north and west sides. This country has a special shape because it's 1800 kilometers long from the north to the south, but is has a minimum width of 6 kilometers at the port of Narvik.

The western shores are full of fjords. The glaciers of the ice-age scooped even 200 kilometers long bays which are lingering into the country. This bays are bordered with steep, leafless mountains. Norway has a 26000 kilometers long dissected shores.

It was discovered in the 70's that the continental-mounting is holding a huge amount of carbohydrogens. Norway participate a lot from these oil-fields and natural gas.

Due to the oceanic climate and the relief it's raining amply and equable all over the country. These reasons provided a lot of short but big in fall rivers. Due to the rivers Norway obtained cheap water-energy, and 1st worldwide in the amount of energy produced per head.

The capital can be located on the south, in the deep of a fjord. This city is even the main and the busyest port of the country.
