Constitutional monarchy

Denmark is located on the Jylland-peninsula, on two bigger and more small eastern island between the Northern- and the Baltic Sea. Hereby it can provide a direct connection between the northern-countries and the main territories of Europe.

Denmark's natural facilities are prospering to agriculture. Cereals, potato, sugarbeet and ensilage are to grow on the extensive plough-lands. Leading section is the animal husbandry. It has a huge export from animal-products (meat, bacon, buttermilk, egg). It's fishing is also considerable. The capital, Copenhagen is an important port-town. It has antique temples, graceful mansions and spacious parks which are spreading calmness.

The Feröer-island and Greenland are also belong to Denmark's territory. They has an area of 341700 km 2 which isn't covered with ice. 2-3 kilometers thick ice is covering the central parts of Greenland. Only the mountains on the shore are heighten over the land. It has dissected shores, laced by fjords. Enormous icebergs use to sliver into the sea from glaciers. These are dangerous for sailing, and can drift to the area of the 40-42 o line of latitude.
