     Judaism is one of the oldest religions that appeared and that still resist today. Its birth is in the ancient country Chaldea.

     Judaism is a monotheist religion. Its God is named Iahve - “the one who is”, Elohim or Adonai -“Lord” .This religion was not made by one man, but it evolved in ancient times as a necessity in a world surrounded by polytheist religions. Their Holy book is he Torah. The prime personality of the Jews is Moses but the Jews are still waiting for their Messiah – they do not accept Jesus Christ as Messiah. The relationship with God is established through 4 things:

  1. The act of circumcision
  2. The Ten Commandments (The Decalogue)
  3. Shema Israel (Listen Israel)
  4. The Credo – or confession of faith

     The Ten Commandments are:

  1. I am the Lord thy god, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
  2. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.
  3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
  4. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.
  5. Honor thy father and thy mother.
  6. Thou shalt not murder.
  7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
  8. Thou shalt not steal.
  9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against they neighbor.
  10. Thou shalt not covet anything that belongs to thy neighbor.
