Invertebrates

Invertebrates are animals without a backbone. There are many animals like that. For example, sponges are animals whose skeleton have been used by people. They are grouped within the Phylum Poriferd. Sponges live at the bottom of the ocean. Some are tubbed shaped and others are round. Another example is a jellyfish. Jellyfish are grouped in the Phylum Cnidarians. They are magnificently colored and have an elegant umbrella shape form. Their tentacles are used for catching food. There are many invertebrates in the world.
