also played host to this festival in 2004, which has been around since the
first in the UK in 1982. More than 145 festivals have been held so far in
22 different countries. The Festival celebrates the world’s music, arts
and dance, and brings performers from all around the world to share their
passion for music, arts and dance and allow different audiences to gain insights
on cultures different from theirs just by the enjoyment of music.
There were participatory workshops for audience to mingle and interact with the artists and learn about their music. Shops selling a wide range of international arts, crafts and cuisine stalls helped create the unique atmosphere at the Festival.
