Tan Beng Tian

Tan Beng Tian is the founder and artistic director of The Finger Players. She had previously worked for two years establishing The Finger Players as an independent non-profit company with The Theatre Practice’s support. Now, she is fully dedicated to the full-time running of the company. She is bilingual and has performed in both English and Mandarin theatre. She has also been working with Raffles Girls’ Secondary School since 1999 as a workshop instructor. She has also worked with students from CHIJ St. Nicolas Girls’ School and United World College and many others.

Chong Tze Chian

Chong Tze Chian is the company director of The Finger Players. He is also working as the playwright and facilitator. He haas previously been working with the Necessary Stage as a playwright and is an adjunct lecturer at the National university of Singapore. He has conducted courses at Creative Arts Camp, Nanyang Junior College, Katong Convent and Chung Cheng High School (Main) just to name a few.

Other members of the group include Ong Kian Sin (full-time artist/actor/puppeteer/instructor), Oliver Chong (full-time artist/actor/puppeteer/instructor) and Ang Hui Bin (artist).
