Samurai
The Samurai were part of the military class. The were
called the Japanese warriors. Samurai carried loads of
weapons like bow and arrows, spears, guns and awords. The
sword was the samurai symbol. After a defeat in a war some
samurai committed suicide by cutting their abdomen. They
preferred to do this then get captured or die a horrible
death. Between the wars many samurai worked on farms.
Samurai were forced to live in castle towns. The swords
they used were called Tachi and Katana. Samurai's are over
500 years old. The samurai's with long hair would tie their
hair back in a bobble so it wouldn't get caught in anything
while they were fighting.
