Cosmetics Science- This site is a very good site for cosmetics, but it is also rather scientific and so one requires a very strong understanding of cosmetic terms before reading it. However, this site goes into detail about the scientific reasons and the scientific aspects of cosmetics. which may prove interesting to those interested in the technicalities of stuff.

Cosmetics FAQ - A very good site to establish fundamentals of cosmetics that you can trust to be accurately based, since this site is made by the FDA.

Top 10 Cosmetic Do's and Don't's - For those of us who use a lot of cosmetics and see that they need to use them for whatever reason, this site provides ideas for safer alternatives. However, for a complete list, check out "Alternatives". This site does stress that not using cosmetics is the best way to go.

A Century of Ensuring Safe Foods and Cosmetics - This site we found too late to use for our regulations but it is a very good site to use and had we had more time on our hands we would have definitely incorporated things from this site. It is definitely worth the time reading it, as it concerns information about thE FDA in accordance with cosmetics.
