1. What is the main purpose of our experiment?
As the conclusion of our project, we want to answer the question of our hypothesis "Are there any salts more efficient or better for the environment than Rock Salt (NaCl) for melting snow?" Based on our data from the experiment, we consider that CaCl2 should be a good choice. When we were studying our data, we found that CaCl2 did a good job in our experiment. The data we obtained is the evidence. However, we don't think that our experiment is prefect. We might have made mistakes because our working condition was not accurately set up. We just tested 14 different salts and only used lentils as our plants. From the time being, we think that CaCl2 would be more efficient and better for the environment than Rock Salt.
