WHY DO TEENS JOIN GANGS?

Gangs are another major part of teenage lives. This is a drawing I got from chicagomobs.com, it's a drawing of all different kinds of gangs. But gangs still are major problem to teenage life. According to the Center for the Advancement of Health, they say that a new study confirms that how parents are to their children can affect whether their child joins a gang. Kids who grow up without love or care may join a gang just because they might be searching for love. More reasons for teens wanting to join gangs may be because teens are wanting to feel like they belong, want to feel like they have power, a way to feel safe or maybe even because it is a family tradition.
