Drugs really are a major part of a teenager's life. Lots of teenagers in the world go through a time in their life when they want to fit in with the cool crowd, who all happen to be drug addicts, and as a result for just trying to be in the cool crowd they become drug addicts themselves. Or even a teenager might be curious and want to find out why people do drugs, so then they are being influenced into wanting to try out some illegal drugs and see why people take drugs. The teenager most likely will become addicted to the drug and therefore become a drug addict.
