The Green Lady

The Green lady is a reported legend and has been living in Market Street in Musselburgh. She has been haunting the ground of Eden cottage that was once a lovely villa secluded by a high wall. The latest resident has seen the green lady many times but has now left the house. The green lady was said to have committed suicide by hanging herself from an apple tree. Before she had died she had, had a duel but the reason that she killed herself was that she realised that she loved the dueller. The first time that she was seen by the latest tenants was in the middle of the night. The tenants were sleeping in the main bedroom when they were woken and the tenants swore that she saw the green lady. Another time she was seen by her dogs and they woken her up. There was another time when she was seen bye the man of the house when he opened the lounge door the ghost was standing there but when she got trapped in a shaft of light she disappeared. The stories did not stop vandals from going and vandalising the house after it was left.

There is a photo of the house that was haunted below.

THE HAUNTED COTTAGE
The cottage that used to be the home of a family who owned a horse is haunted by, that horse. The tenants have heard the horse kicking and neighing when they have been in the kitchen. The house was situated in Dirleton and the tenants who owned the horse were the Beadle of Dirlton Kirk. The reason of hearing the horse in the kitchen is because that was where the stable was. The horse has even more evidence than just noises being heard as there is tiny horseshoes in the garden said to have been Shetland ponies.

THE PHANTOM PAGEBOY
A ghost has been haunting the North Berwick House for many years and has so far been haunting the Dalrymple family who are barons of North Berwick. The ghost is hooded and faceless and it rushes past and then disappears maybe to go and join other ghosts in St Andrews Kirkyard, which is nearby to the North Berwick House. The ghost is apparently thought to be Lady Dalrymple's pageboy who murdered his mistress over a trifling incident. There is one Question that has stuck in people's mind's for a long time which is, the murder took place in London so why would the pageboy be haunting North Berwick many people would think that ghosts would stay where they were killed but the PHANTOM PAGEBOY actually went and haunted his former home.
