Inland Taipan

The Inland Taipain is # 1 on our most deadly list.  Also known as the Fierce Snake, it can grow up to be 1.7 meters long.  It is found in Australia.  It lays 9-12 eggs at one time and hunts during the day.  It’s temperament is moderate, so it isn't quite so easily angered.

This fast-moving snake is one of Australia`s most deadly snakes.  It is very much at home in sugar cane growing areas, especially in Queensland, where it eats rats and mice.  This snake can be caught around Julatten, North of Cairns, Queenslasnd . The Inland Taipan is called a feeder, and it kills a wide variety of animals.  It has very, very keen senses of smell and sight.

Although it is not very active, the Inland Taipan will stand it’s ground when trapped, and strike quickly, often inflicting many bites.
