Charles was born in 1922.  Right then he was living in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  He died from cancer in 2000.  He made the comic strip Peanuts which starred Charley Brown and Snoopy.  They stared appearing in holiday TV specials and on the stage show You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown too.  Music for many of the Peanuts TV specials was composed by Vince Guaraldi.  Charles has made tons of entertaining cartoons and is one of the best cartoon artistes in the world in my opinion!
