Garfield first appeared in 1978.  The creator of this amazing show/comic was Jim Davis.  You mostly will see him and his owner John in the newspaper comic section on Sunday morning. 

Garfield is basically a lazy, fat cat who doesn’t help out John at all.  He also likes to sleep, eat, and tease the dog whenever possible.  I would definitely recommend it for you if you like hilarious comic strips!  To see a sample, click here.
