Bugs Bunny

Bugs Bunny was created to be opposite Porky Pig in the cartoon Porky's Hare Hunt. First appearing in 1938-40, you can still find this cartoon on TV today on Boomerang.  It also occasionally appears on Cartoon Network.

His first line was “Eh, What’s up, Doc?” and he first kissed Elmer Fudd.    At this point, he didn't really have a name.  He fianally became "Bugs Bunny" when Chuck Jones directed a cartoon named Elmer's Pet Rabbit.

On the Laugh-O-Meter I’d give it a nine point nine.
