Tips to prevent stress
~Aim to exercise regularly as exercise relieve the stress that builds up in stressful situations and gives us a sense of achievement and control.
~Eat healthily and ensure you are getting enough vitamins and minerals in your diet. One easy way to get them (although, unfortunately, very few of us manage to) is to eat 5 servings of fruit and vegetables daily.
~Make sure you are getting enough sleep. People need varying amounts of rest. Only yourself know how much sleep you yourself need to perform at your best.
~Learn to think clearly and set yourself realistic goals and objectives. Work through one problem at a time in a logical way.
~If you feel panic coming on, think through it by breaking it down. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Most of the time it then appears less serious.
~Say NO to things you cannot take on. On most occasions people will not think any less of you.
~Remember that you are human and everyone must make mistakes. Learn to view mistakes as learning opportunities and problems as challenges. Everyone have mistakes before one can do it right.
