In this project, we are going to introduce to you the cuisines of Hong Kong and our customs. We are mainly going to investigate about the egg tart and some other traditional foods. We are going to talk about the origin, facts and contents of them. |
Typical Hong Kong meals (lunch and dinner) are eaten in restaurants with dim sum and tea.It is the tradition of Hong Kong people to drink tea while eating as it makes us more alert and will make our bodies healthier. |
When eating, we have a lot of traditional customs. It is considered to be good manners to follow them. Due to the fact that Hong Kong belongs to China, a lot of our customs are formed by the beliefs and etiquettes of China. |
|
Though it is not necessary to learn all the customs, it is best to learn a few simple ones, as the quote says,"A Chinese dinner host will not expect a visitor to know all the traditions associated with a Chinese meal. But the visitor who knows some of them will gain 'face' and give 'face' to his host!" |
|
| If you learn a few customs, you will not be embarrassed when you dine with Chinese, and others will have a good first impression on you, and you will find yourself more popular with Chinese hosts. |
