Our softwares:

We use Pinnacle editor software on our home PC. We do not want to make an advertisement but - if you can afford it - use this editor programme because it is very useful, user friendly and complex. But keep the right to edit the film only with one or two friends because this is a very crucial point in every film making. It takes several hours and you have to fill your fridge with sodas and you have to order several pizzas.
We also use Microsoft Movie Maker. This is also a very good programme, but it is not so flexible. It's got only 2 sound channels, and 1 text channel, but when we edited our first film FKF, it wasn't a  big problem.

We used clapboard during our shooting. It is very important when you edit your film to find the relevant screens on your PC. The profis have the whole film virtually in their minds and they want to see  this vision on picture strip. We use video tape because it is very cheap and easy to use. Okay we know that is different than celluloid film but please apologize us. You can download the film from the camera to your PC via cable. If you use USB port it is very easy and quick but it takes as much time as the tape is running. After that you can edit your film and the voice simultaneously on your PC. You can add voice to your film but take care because it is not easy to add extra dub to an amateur film.
