Table Sports

Momentum, an American pastime. What do all table sports have in common? They employ the use of momentum to continually thrill the people playing. Billiards for example is a game where a single ball is given momentum by the player to try to bounce other balls into various pockets on the table. Foosball is a game where the objective is to score points by giving momentum to the ball and placing it in the goal area. Ping Pong or Table Tennis, is a sport that is know and enjoyed throughout the world. The objective is to pass a ball back and forth between two people until one person misses. Lastly the game of air hockey uses momentum by the players hitting a puck across a seemingly friction-less surface in order to score points. In all cases momentum is what drives these games and makes them enjoyable.
