The
history of the United Nations clearly shows that individual people can
make a difference in the world. One man, Woodrow Wilson, led to the
founding of the League of Nations, the precursor to the United Nations.
One man, Franklin D. Roosevelt, caused the creation of the United
Nations, an organization which would impact the world for generations to
come. One man, Tom DeWeese, questioned the morality and organization of
the United Nations. One man, Kofi Annan, responded to these challenges
by spawning a massive reform of the United Nations.
Will you be the
next person to make a difference? Even if you don’t have the power and influence
of the aforementioned people, you can make a difference in your community. Keep
up to date with politics, both national and international. Vote in every
election, email your local government officials about their policies you do or
do not approve of, and inform others about politics and diplomacy.
We trust you
have both enjoyed and benefited from your visit to our website. We hope we have
inspired all citizens of the world, especially the rising generation, to become
involved in government, politics, and diplomacy. Please email us with your
comments at goldenbridges@cox.net. |
