These are some easy tips to keep your children or
the children you are carrying for safe at all times.


When playing with toys:
  • Do not let children play with sharp toys.
  • Do not let young children play with small objects that can be easily swallowed/choked on.
  • Do not let young children play cords and rope, because it can be a chocking hazard.

When placing children in cribs:
  • Pull the sheets lining the cribs tightly.
  • Sheets fit so there is no tangle.
  • Don't place children in cribs with many hard objects in it.
  • Remove bags, pillows, and comforters in case of suffocation.

When placing children in playpens:
  • Make sure rails lock automatically.
  • Make sure there are no catch points or sharp edges.
  • Mesh lining less than quarter inch width.

When allowing children to use scooters:
  • Wear helmets, knee pads and elbow pads.
  • Ride on smooth surfaces.
  • Do not ride at night.

When dealing with poison:
  • Keep medicine cabinets locked.
  • Use products with child resistant caps.
  • Keep items in original containers.
  • Keep poisons out of reach of children.

When riding a bicycle:
  • Wear a helmet.
  • Wear bright clothes.
  • Ride with the traffic.
  • Check wheels and brakes before you ride.
  • Learn the rules of the road.

Home health tips:
  • Cut loops on  the strings on the blinds.
  • Keep away from scalding water.
  • Make sure child doesn't get trapped between the bed and the wall.
