Introduction Neptune is eighth from the Sun and fourth largest in diameter; even though it is smaller than Uranus, it has a larger mass. It is named after the Roman God Neptune, which means God of sea. It is very much like Uranus in color. Neptune has thirteen moons, but only seven are named like Triton and there are five newly discovered that are not named. In addition, just like Uranus, Neptune has very small rings. Neptune includes a Large Dark Spot, which makes it have something in common with Jupiter.
