I, a citizen of the Earth,
Hereby pledge to be a part of the disaster management campaign and
Take the responsibility of learning various disaster management and
Life saving techniques to help disaster affected people,
Using my skills to restore the broken ties with nature.
I shall not only keep my expertise to myself,
But shall also educate others
To make this planet a better and safer place to live.
I shall not be frightened of huge waves, dangerous fires,
Threatening winds or of the shaking earth,
But shall do my best to prevent their outrage,
By respecting nature in all its forms and manifestations.
If need be, I’d battle all forces of destruction.
I shall also not hurt nature so that nature hurts not man.
In the well being of the earth and nature, lies my happiness.
