Purpose of Photojournalism

Photojournalism is a form of a collection, a presentation of news for the general public. Images create news all on their own. They create news stories by using just that, photographs. In Photojournalism, photographs help keep record of events in history and helps bring more to a story with an image that the story itself. Photographers have the ability to capture a moment in time. Just an image taken tells a story about an event, a place, or individuals. Photojournalism is our window to the world around us.
