     American teen sensation made her Olympic debut in the 2006 Winter Games, and overcame a chronic knee problem to win gold. Teter, who first made the Olympic team at 16, has been one of the world's best halfpipe riders since 2004, when she won gold in the Winter X Games, the Grand Prix, and taking bronze in the 2005 Worlds. Teter also enjoys skateboarding, surfing, soccer, and jumping on the trampoline. She, like many boarders, listens to her favorite tunes while racing.
