     Julio Mancuso's breakout moment came in 2005 at the World Championships in Bormio, Italy, where she won bronze in super-G and Giant Slalom. Mancuso was the only Woman American Skier to win at Torino, winning in GS. Mancuso made her debut in 1999, as a 15 year old at Copper Mt, Colorado. She was the youngest American competitor since Kristina Koznick in 1991. Julio was the youngest of three girls of her Lake Tahoe family, and evolved into a great young skier.
