Welcome to our pessimistic site for ThinkQuest, on Murphy's Law. Please be advised that all optimists are advised to leave immediately, as the content within this site is of disturbingly pessimistic nature.

For those who aren't aware, Murphy's Law is a simple rule of thumb that appears to apply to every situation possible (of which there are billions). Murphy's Law states, quite simply, that anything that can go wrong will go wrong. There are a number of laws based on this, detailed in 'Examples'.
