The Summary

While on a Paris trip, Robert Langdon receives a late-night call: the late curator of the Louvre had been found murdered inside of the museum. Around the body, police found a baffling cipher. While trying to solve the riddle, Langdon is shocked to find that the clues lead them through a trail of hidden clues hidden in the work of Da Vinci.

Langdon joins up with a French cryptologist, Sophie Neveu and learns that the curator was involved in the Priory of Sion. The Louvre curator had sacrificed his life to protect the Priory's most precious secret: the location of a vastly important religious relic, hidden for centuries.

Langdon and Neveu go head-to-head with a faceless power-broker who appears to work for the Opus Dei - a Vatican-sanctioned Catholic sect believed to have plotted to seize the Priory's secret. Unless Langdon and Neveu can decipher the puzzle, the Priory's secret will be lost forever.
