Lack of rain, major air pressure shift (El Nino), the amount of average rainfall drops. |

When there is no moister in the air and dry weather. |

Environmental damage, death, high stress to plants, forest fires and field fires, wind erosion, streams, ponds and wells dry up. |

Near the equator mostly in summer, or in hot places. |

|
More water and moister, more living life, cooler temperatures. |

Are they predictable? What tools are used?
|
They can be predictable by a meteorologist and their tools (weather tools)
But long-range forecasters can’t. |
