·       The legend started being famous in the 1930’s, because in 1934, an English surgeon named R. Kenneth took the most famous picture of the Loch Ness Monster.  This picture is called the surgeon’s picture.  The picture showed the head and neck of Nessie.

·       Lake Loch ness is 24 miles long and 700 feet deep in places.

·       Some people think Nessie is from the Ice Age.

·       Scientists think that Nessie is an Oarfish. Scientists think this because an Oarfish is as long as a boat.

·       The most recent photos of Nessie have been proven wrong but the older photos have not yet been proven wrong or right.
